Watch: Shin Ha Kyun Reunites With His Late Wife Han Ji Min At A Mystical Place In “Yonder” Teaser

TVING has shared a teaser for their upcoming series “Yonder”!

“Yonder” is based on an original work that revolves around the future and virtual reality. It is about a man who lives in agony because he cannot forget his wife who died of cancer. One day, he receives a letter and chooses to find her after having abandoned her body. The drama will depict a world where one can live forever without death and make viewers wonder about the meaning of eternal life, death, memory and oblivion, happiness and unhappiness. It will be directed by director Lee Joon Ik, who produced the films “The Book of Fish”, “Anarchist from Colony” and “The King and the Clown”.

Shin Ha Kyun will play Jae Hyun, a Science M reporter who lives an empty life after the death of his wife. Han Ji Min will play the role of Jae Hyun’s late wife, Yi Hu. She signs a mysterious contract just before choosing euthanasia, which leads her husband to a different world called Over There.

The teaser begins with Jae Hyun and Yi Hu enjoying their peaceful days together. The couple are just happy as they relax on the beach. Jae Hyun’s voiceover asks, “What’s over there?” He discovers the answer after Yi Hu’s death when he suddenly receives an unexpected message from him. Yi Hu said, “I am here. If you want to see me, come here. As if bewitched by his invitation, he enters the mystical place called Over There. She greets him saying, “You are there. The words “The last place you can meet the person you love” increase curiosity about this mystical place, and it will be intriguing to see how Jae Hyun and Yi Hu’s second story in Yonder unfolds.
